RATES
Square Inch Price
I charge 2.5 cents per square inch for all computerized edge to edge designs.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .025 = $120.
I also offer semi custom quilting at 3.5 cents per square inch and custom quilting at $20 per hour.
My minimum quilting charge is $50. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.
Batting
I use and stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting in

Roll of 100% cotton: natural, soft, light, breathable, and slight shrinkage for crinkly texture.

Roll of 80/20 cotton/poly blend: no shrinkage, slightly more loft than above, and economical.

Roll of 100% wool: great loft for stitch definition, light, warm, and pre-shrunk.

Roll of bamboo: light, breathable, and amazing drape even with dense stitching.

Queen package of 100% cotton deluxe: thick, warm, weighty, and has a delectable squish.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch from queen rolls of batting 93" wide except in the case of queen packages and special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per inch.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting of your choice.

65" of 100% wool @$0.49/in = $31.85

Binding
I offer several options for binding services. Is binding your least favorite part of quilting? Imagine how amazing it would be to have your quilt returned all finished and ready to enjoy or gift!

Attach binding by machine to the front of the quilt ($0.10/linear inch)

Thread
I stock predominantly Premo-soft (#50) threads. I don't charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price.
My personal style attempts to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Photography
I'm not a professional photographer but I do my best to take good photos :). Upon completion of the quilting, I will take photos of your quilt in my well-lit studio and then text/email you those images to use however you would like. I'd just ask that you credit me for the photo and/or quilting if posting publicly. This extra service is included in your square inch price.
Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in Littleton, Colorado and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $100 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.
Other Costs
As mentioned above, batting is not included in the square inch price. I'm required by the State of Colorado and Douglas County to collect a 5% sales tax on batting. The quilting service portion of an invoice is not subject to sales tax.
