ABOUT ME
As a bat biologist by day I am finding a creative outlet by being a longarm quilter by night (or sometimes switched =)). The beautiful colors of gorgeous quilt tops provide a welcome respite from data analysis and report writing. I love enhancing client's creations with my custom free motion and computerized quilting.
A good friend's mom, Nancy Fuka, taught my nerdy friend group's Craft Club how to quilt in high school and I haven't been able to stop since!
I live with my husband, Tim, and two doodles, Jasper and Leo. We are so lucky to live nestled in the beautiful red rocks that are my companies name sake. We spend our free time hiking, skiing, and mountain biking in the mountains and foothills of Colorado. The beauty of nature and spectacular colors are always an inspiration for my creativity and kindle my personal choices in quilt colors and patterns.
I currently serve on the Programs Committee for the Denver Metro Modern Quilt Guild. I am loving being involved with the local quilting community!
